India's influence and access in Bangladesh will remain robust irrespective of which government holds power there, according to BJP leader and India Foundation founder Shaurya Doval. Any setbacks due to the ouster of its 'friend' Sheikh Hasina would be only temporary, he asserted.
Doval emphasized that India, a 'big, friendly, and giving' nation, firmly protects its interests and will not tolerate any attempts from Bangladeshi soil to foster terrorism in India.
In an exclusive interaction with PTI, Doval stated that Bangladesh, regardless of its ruling regime, understands the importance of good relations with India. He expressed confidence that once the situation stabilizes, bilateral relations will normalize, asserting India's capability to engage with all political parties in Bangladesh.
