Congress Unites Against Alleged BJP Conspiracy in Karnataka

The ruling Congress in Karnataka is rallying behind Chief Minister Siddaramaiah against BJP and JD(S)'s allegations of corruption and efforts to destabilize the government. Amidst accusations of fraudulent land allotments and mishandling of funds, Congress leaders assert their support for Siddaramaiah, vowing to defend the government's integrity and guarantee schemes.

The ruling Congress in Karnataka has pledged unified support against what it describes as a coordinated effort by BJP and JD(S) to destabilize the Siddaramaiah government. This declaration follows accusations leveled at the Chief Minister involving the MUDA and Valmiki Corporation scams.

Congress general secretary K C Venugopal, after a meeting with state ministers and senior leaders, including CM Siddaramaiah, emphasized the Chief Minister's longstanding reputation for honesty and dedication. He alleged that the opposition's actions are politically motivated, aiming to tarnish the Congress administration's achievements.

In light of Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot's show-cause notice to Siddaramaiah, reportedly a precursor to possible prosecution, Congress denounced the move as a misuse of the governor's office. Venugopal and other party leaders continue to strongly back Siddaramaiah, focusing on countering opposition narratives and ensuring the continuation of state-guaranteed schemes for the poor.
