Kharge Slams Modi Government Over Employment Incentive Schemes

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has accused the Modi government of implementing ineffective employment-linked incentive schemes, calling it 'tokenism.' He argues that these schemes lack long-term solutions for job creation and asserts that the Union Budget, termed as 'Kursi Bachao Budget,' represents 'betrayal.' Kharge demands clarity and detailed plans from the government regarding these initiatives.

Kharge contended that the Budget only forces internships on the industry, offering no long-term solutions for job creation. He dubbed the Budget as 'Kursi Bachao Budget' and urged the government to provide clarity on its alleged tokenism.

The Congress leader argued that the employment-linked incentive schemes fail to offer a sustainable solution for youth and industry, questioning the absence of stakeholder consultation and the inclusion of a Public Sector component.
