Newly appointed Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde on Wednesday pledged to bolster higher education in the state, improve youth skill development, and support the dairy business.
Speaking to media after his oath-taking ceremony at Raj Bhavan, Bagde underscored his commitment to elevating Rajasthan's universities in national and global rankings, prioritizing intellectual capacity development of students, and mitigating the commercialization of education.
Bagde also highlighted the close relationship between Rajasthan and Maharashtra, the importance of promoting courses that encourage entrepreneurship, and the need for coordinated efforts to benefit the youth through Corporate Social Responsibility in traditional industries. Additionally, he stressed providing facilities for athletes to excel in the Olympics and implementing activities beneficial to tribal areas.
He praised the efforts of his predecessor, Kalraj Mishra, and expressed his dedication to continuing the mission of connecting youth with their constitutional rights and duties under Prime Minister Modi's 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat' initiative.
Governor Bagde took his oath of office administered by Rajasthan Chief Justice Manindra Mohan Srivastava, witnessed by prominent state and central government figures.
