Farmers and Workers to Unite at Maharashtra Rally on August 24

On August 24, like-minded parties, including Bharat Rashtra Samiti, Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatna, and Swatantra Bharat Paksh, will hold a rally in Maharashtra. Led by farmer leader Raju Shetti, the rally aims to unite farmers, workers, and other state outfits to form 'Parivartan Aghadi' and push for democratic representation.

Like-minded parties, including the Bharat Rashtra Samiti, will unite to hold a rally in Maharashtra on August 24, as announced by Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatna leader Raju Shetti on Tuesday.

Shetti stated that the current ruling alliance and opposition parties have neglected farmers, leading to a significant number of farmer suicides in Maharashtra. To address this, organizations representing farmers, workers, and other state outfits will form the 'Parivartan Aghadi' and organize a rally in Shegaon.

This rally will bring together individuals who believe in democracy and aim to field capable candidates in the upcoming assembly elections, Shetti highlighted. The farmer leader, who recently met Maratha activist Manoj Jarange, emphasized the need to unite all classes of the community. Jarange expressed dissatisfaction with both the ruling Mahayuti alliance and Maha Vikas Aghadi.
