In a fiery interview on Fox News, former President Donald Trump labeled Vice President Kamala Harris a 'worse candidate' than President Joe Biden, who she replaced more than a week ago as the presumptive Democratic nominee.

'I think she (Harris) is the worst candidate than him (Biden). She is far more radical left,' Trump asserted to host Laura Ingraham on Monday. Kamala Harris officially entered the race after President Biden withdrew on July 20.

Trump did not hold back, criticizing Harris's stance on border policies and defunding the police. 'She was for defunding the police. She was for open borders,' Trump alleged, warning that these policies would 'destroy the country.'

He reiterated accusations of a Democratic 'coup' against Biden, claiming that party leaders forced Biden out of the race due to poor polling numbers. 'It's like you're in a fight, and you're really winning, and they take him out and put somebody else in,' Trump alleged.

Reacting to the interview, Harris's campaign claimed Trump dodged questions about debating her. 'Why won't Donald Trump give a straight answer on debating Vice President Harris?' campaign spokesperson Ammar Moussa asked, asserting that Harris would be on the debate stage on September 10th.
