Trump's Bold Claim to Christians: 'Vote Once and Never Again'
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump told Christians during a recent event that if they vote for him now, they won't need to vote again. Trump's remarks have drawn criticism from Democrats who accuse him of endangering democracy. His controversial comments come as both parties gear up for a tight election.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump told Christians on Friday that if they vote for him this November, 'in four years, you don't have to vote again. We'll have it fixed so good, you're not gonna have to vote.' Trump's remarks have sparked confusion and criticism.
Speaking at a Turning Point Action event in West Palm Beach, Florida, Trump urged Christians to vote for him, insisting that future voting would be unnecessary under his leadership. 'Christians, get out and vote, just this time. You won't have to do it anymore,' he said.
His campaign spokesperson, Steven Cheung, attempted to clarify, saying Trump was discussing national unity. This comes after an attempt on Trump's life and his controversial promise to be a 'dictator' for a day if elected, to secure the border and expand oil drilling.
