Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal lambasted the Chief Ministers of opposition-ruled states for skipping the NITI Aayog meeting on Saturday, accusing them of doing injustice to their people.
Speaking at a press conference, Goyal pointed out that the absent CMs missed a crucial opportunity to ask pertinent questions and engage in meaningful dialogue.
The opposition CMs, including M K Stalin, Pinarayi Vijayan, and Mamata Banerjee, have expressed their grievances over alleged neglect in the Union Budget presented recently. Goyal emphasized the continuity between the Union Budget and the interim budget, countering claims of bias.
