Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy paid tributes at the Kargil War memorial on the 25th anniversary of 'Kargil Vijay Diwas.' In his message, the Chief Minister stated, 'we honor and remember the bravery and sacrifices of our armed forces in securing victory over Pakistan.'
Home Minister A Namassivayam, along with ministers, Speaker of the territorial Assembly R Selvam, Director General of Police B Srinivas, secretaries, and officials from various departments, also paid their respects at the memorial to commemorate India's historic win.
The ceremony saw participation from members of the National Cadet Corps, the Indian Coast Guard, ex-servicemen, and legislators, who all placed wreaths and paid homage to the personnel of the armed forces.
