Telangana CM Accuses NDA Government of Bias in Union Budget

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has accused the NDA government at the Centre of exhibiting bias and discrimination against the state in the recently unveiled Union Budget.
Reddy condemned the budget, calling it a 'kursi bachao budget' aimed at pleasing NDA partners TDP and JD(U). He dubbed the NDA as 'Naidu-Nitish Dependent Alliance' during a press conference responding to the budget presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
The CM also demanded Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy, who is also the state BJP president, to resign over the 'injustice' done to Telangana. Reddy highlighted that eight Congress Lok Sabha members from Telangana would protest against the 'raw deal' given to the state, and emphasized that the issue would be debated in the legislative assembly, followed by a resolution. He lamented that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government acted not with discrimination but with bias against Telangana.
