Lebanon's militant Hezbollah group unleashed dozens of rockets into northern Israel on Saturday, marking the first aggressive action against a kibbutz in nine months. This move came in direct retaliation for an earlier Israeli drone strike that injured several people, including children.
In a parallel incident, the Palestinian militant group Hamas launched rockets from Lebanon targeting an Israeli army post in the village of Shomera. Hamas stated that the assault was in response to the ongoing 'Zionist massacres' in Gaza. While Hamas has conducted similar attacks from Lebanon before, these instances have been few and far between.
Later that evening, an Israeli airstrike on the southern coastal village of Adloun resulted in a series of explosive events, attributed to an arms depot believed to belong to Hezbollah. The strike, which led to shrapnel injuries to three individuals in a nearby village, once again highlighted the escalating tensions.
