Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, is set to announce 'Kejriwal's guarantees' for Haryana, state AAP president Sushil Gupta disclosed on Friday. The launch event will take place during a town hall meeting in Panchkula on Saturday.
'We don't make promises like the BJP and Congress, we give guarantees. These are Arvind Kejriwal's guarantees, not Modi's hollow assurances,' Gupta asserted. He further emphasized that Haryana should receive its fair share of water, a matter to be handled by the Central government.
The AAP has announced its intention to contest all 90 assembly seats in Haryana, pledging change and good governance. Gupta criticized the ruling BJP as anti-farmer and accused the government of failing to maintain law and order while using force against protesting farmers.
In other developments, Yuvraj Dutt, cousin of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, has joined AAP, citing his admiration for the party's anti-corruption stance. Dutt, who recently relocated to his ancestral village in Yamunanagar, expressed his willingness to potentially contest in the upcoming elections.
