At 52, Haley challenged the 78-year-old Trump for the 2024 Republican nomination, spending months in contention with the ex-president. However, she has now directed her 97 delegates to vote for Trump at the convention, calling for party cohesion.

Among thousands of delegates and party leaders, Haley declared, "Donald Trump has my strong endorsement," highlighting that despite some differences, Trump is the best choice to lead the country and unite the Republican party against incumbent President Joe Biden.
