Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh has filed a petition in the Madhya Pradesh High Court, contesting the recent election victory of BJP's Rodmal Nagar in the Rajgarh Lok Sabha constituency.

Singh's petition alleges manipulation of electronic voting machines (EVMs) and violations of the Constitution of India and the Representation of the People Act. He argues that the Election Commission of India failed to adhere to Supreme Court directives on EVM verification.

Singh emphasized the importance of free and fair elections, stressing that every vote must be correctly counted. He criticized the EC and government's lack of responsiveness to concerns about EVMs and insisted on the implementation of the Supreme Court's decision from April 26.
