Priyanka Gandhi Slams Central Government Over Manipur Attack

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra condemned a CRPF convoy attack in Manipur that killed one soldier, questioning the central government's inaction on the ongoing ethnic conflict. Sachin Pilot and Manipur CM also expressed their condolences and called for a swift resolution.

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra condemned the attack on a security convoy in Manipur's Jiribam district on Sunday, which resulted in the death of a CRPF personnel. She criticized the central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not addressing the ethnic conflict plaguing the state since May 2023.

Gandhi Vadra expressed her condolences to the family of the deceased and wished for the quick recovery of the injured soldiers. Sachin Pilot, Congress leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, also paid tribute to the fallen soldier, calling the attack 'cowardly.'

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh strongly condemned the attack, suspecting Kuki militants' involvement. He extended his condolences to the bereaved family and assured that the sacrifice of the CRPF personnel would not be in vain.
