Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday expressed grave concern over the recent terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, vowing decisive action against those who threaten peace in the region.

Speaking at an event during his two-day visit to J-K, Modi asserted that the enemies of the Union territory are struggling to accept its progress and stability.

'The enemies of peace and humanity are unsettled by the developments in Jammu and Kashmir. The recent terror attacks have been taken very seriously by the government. The Home Minister, along with the J&K Administration, has reviewed the situation,' he stated.

Modi assured that no effort will be spared in teaching the enemies of Jammu and Kashmir a lesson.

'They are making desperate attempts to disrupt development and prevent the establishment of lasting peace. However, the new generation of Jammu and Kashmir will experience permanent peace. We will uphold the path chosen by the people of Jammu and Kashmir,' he added.

The prime minister's remarks come in the wake of a terrorist attack on a bus carrying pilgrims in the Jammu region on June 9, which resulted in multiple fatalities and injuries. Additionally, back-to-back attacks in Kathua and Doda districts led to the death of a security personnel and injuries to others.
