Prime Minister Modi held a roadshow at Dausa on Friday to garner support for BJP candidate Kanhaiya Lal Meena ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.

He was seated in a specially designed vehicle, accompanied by the BJP candidate from Dausa, Kanhaiya Lal Meena and state minister Kirodi Lal Meena. Cabinet Minister Kirori Lal Meena set the tone by welcoming Prime Minister Modi with a spirited drum performance.

PM Modi was seen waving at people lining both sides of the road and held up the BJP's 'lotus' poll symbol to canvass support for the BJP candidate from Dausa. Prior to the roadshow, people gathered in huge numbers to welcome PM Modi. They also came up with a cultural performance using musical instruments such as 'dhol' and 'manjeera'.

Sitting Dausa MP Jaskaur Meena said PM Modi's roadshow will boost the party's campaign in the state and help the BJP win all 25 seats. "PM Modi's roadshow was quite impressive and will help us win all 25 seats. PM has left no stone unturned in developing this region, including building expressways and medical colleges. Today, his roadshow will enable our candidate Kanhaiya Lal Meena to win by a margin of 1.5 to 3 lakh votes," Meena said. (ANI)
