Zambia’s President Edgar Lungu is expected to visit the Copperbelt on April 2 for three days. The President’s plan is to commission the expansion works at Mukuba University campus in Kitwe’s Itimpi area.

The programme has been issued by Bright Nundwe, Permanent Secretary, Copperbelt Province to the Zambia News and Information Services (ZANIS). The programme reveals that Zambia’s Head of State will commission the expansion works at Mukuba University campus.

According to Bright Nundwe, Edgar Lungu is likely to inspect multiple development projects in the region despite having other arrangements.

Mr Nundwe further revealed that President Lungu is also expected to check on various developmental projects in the region, among other engagements. He is expected to reach the Ndola Airport (Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport) in Ndola district around 2:30 pm. Nundwe has since called on senior government officials and the Copperbelt community to join him in welcoming the Head to the region, Lusaka Times reported.
