Foreign ministry appoints Ruchira Kamboj as India's next ambassador to Bhutan

Senior diplomat Ruchira Kamboj has been appointed as India's next ambassador to Bhutan, the External Affairs Ministry said Monday. Kamboj, a 1987-batch Indian Foreign Service officer, is presently India's High Commissioner to South Africa. She is expected to take up the assignment shortly, the ministry said in a statement.
