On Sunday, the Terminal Ballistics Research Laboratory is set to undertake a high-calibre bomb test at the Ramgarh test range in Panchkula, Haryana. This exercise is planned for the morning hours between 10.30 am and 12.30 pm, as confirmed by officials.
Authorities have urged residents of the nearby Bhanu and Billa villages to remain inside during this period to ensure their safety. The tests can result in bomb fragments reaching altitudes of 1.5 km with a potential spread within a 2 km radius horizontally from the site. Consequently, a safety perimeter of 2 km around the blast area has been established to safeguard against any risks.
