A body of an unidentified man was found in a women's coach of a train at Danapur railway station in Bihar under mysterious circumstances, according to local police reports on Saturday.
The train, which runs between Pune and Danapur, reached the station around 11:30 am. During a routine inspection post-deboarding, railway staff discovered a locked women's carriage. Entry was gained by breaking through an emergency exit. Inside, the body was found hanging from a side railing with a belt.
Danapur GRP official Ajay Kumar indicated the deceased is estimated to be between 25 and 30 years old, although no identification was found. A forensic team assessed the death likely occurred six to seven hours before the body was discovered. Police are reviewing surveillance video from earlier stops to facilitate the ongoing investigation. Efforts continue to confirm the man's identity and locate his family.
