The BJP has fiercely dismissed Rahul Gandhi's assertions that the contract granted to COEMPT for CBSE's OSM work was tainted. According to BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia, Gandhi has prioritized political narratives over factual verification, accusing him of leveraging misinformation tactics.
Gandhi's allegations focused on COEMPT's alleged controversial background. However, the BJP countered these claims by highlighting the company's recurring contracts with institutions in Congress-led states like Telangana and Karnataka. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan emphasized that the CBSE procurement process adhered to official guidelines, promising corrective measures should any lapses emerge.
