Karan Goel, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (West), reiterated the department's commitment to upholding peace and security. He warned that strict legal actions will be enforced against those who engage in hooliganism or activities that upset public order. The police plan to continue these proactive checks to ensure the city's public spaces are safe and orderly.
In a public appeal, the Gurugram police urged citizens to avoid turning shared public spaces into venues for intoxication, emphasizing the need for community responsibility in maintaining public order.
