Vietnam does not have a policy of creating excess capacity, PM says

​Vietnam does ‌not have ​a policy of creating ‌excess capacity, Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung ‌told Deputy U.S. ‌Trade Representative Rick Switzer at a meeting on ⁠Wednesday ​in ⁠Hanoi, the Vietnamese government ⁠said.

Vietnam will continue ​to closely coordinate with ⁠the U.S. to finalise negotiations ⁠for ​a bilateral trade pact, the ⁠government said in a statement ⁠following ⁠the meeting.
