South Korea says Samsung failed to narrow differences with union in pay talks
South Korea's labour commissioner Park Soo-keun, who mediated between Samsung Electronics and its Korean union, told reporters on Wednesday that the two sides failed to narrow differences on two or three issues, without elaborating.
The government is open to restarting negotiations if Samsung and the union make a request, he said.
