Authorities in Lucknow are investigating a disturbing incident after a woman's headless body was found inside a steel box at Gomtinagar railway station.
Superintendent of Police (Railways) Rohit Mishra reported that the grim discovery was made during a routine inspection of Chhapra-Gomtinagar Express train on Sunday.
The incident occurred when railway staff found a suspicious steel box and bag. Upon inspection by RPF and GRP, the box revealed the torso of a woman, aged around 25-30 years. Railway police have launched an investigation and formed three dedicated teams to ascertain the victim's identity and bring those responsible to justice.
