B Bala Naga Devi has been appointed as the Director General of Police (DGP) of the Cyber Crime Wing in Chennai. Additionally, Rajeev Kumar will assume the role of DGP for Training in Chennai, indicating a strategic realignment in training priorities.
The move also involves reassignments within the intelligence and security sectors, with officials like S Davidson Devasirvatham and K A Senthil Velan placed on compulsory wait. This decision underscores the government's intent to optimize the operational effectiveness of its police force.
