In a significant move to bolster the judiciary, the Supreme Court collegium has sanctioned the appointment of 10 new judges to the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
During a meeting on May 4, the collegium, chaired by Chief Justice Surya Kant, confirmed the nominations of advocates including Monica Chhibber Sharma and Harmeet Singh Deol, among others.
Additionally, the collegium approved three judicial officers for the Andhra Pradesh High Court, signaling a reinforcement of judicial capacities across multiple states.
