Rajasthan Police constable Vinod Singh has been dismissed from service following his involvement in drug trafficking, officials confirmed Friday.
Singh, who was stationed in Pratapgarh district, was apprehended on April 24 in connection with transporting 244 grams of smack, a serious offense under the Narcotic Drugs Psychotropic Substances Act.
The Rajasthan Civil Services rules justified his dismissal, emphasizing zero tolerance for such violations, sending a strong message that legal and administrative consequences are inevitable for lawbreakers.
