Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday guided India's diplomatic mission leaders on advancing the nation's interests globally. Addressing the 11th Heads of Missions Conference themed 'Reforming Indian Diplomacy for 2047', Modi emphasized creating a roadmap for a future-ready diplomatic approach. The conference took place over three days in New Delhi.
External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that presentations highlighted the promotion of trade, technology, and tourism, reinforcing the 'Bharat story.' Modi also gathered insights from both senior and young diplomats on boosting India's international engagements.
The prime minister advocated for strategic partnerships and deepening diaspora connections to achieve a developed India by 2047. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar inaugurated the conference, which included yoga, brainstorming, and thematic discussions on emerging tech and geopolitical shifts.
