The body of Rajkumar, 35, who had been missing for four days, was discovered in a forest, with his family suspecting a murder linked to a financial dispute, police reported Monday.
Rajkumar, a resident of Lakhapur, went missing after traveling to Danda village in Nayagaon to address an insurance money issue. Following his disappearance, a complaint was filed on April 23. Police found his body on Sunday, with head injuries suggesting foul play, according to Station House Officer Anil Kumar.
A relative is accused of orchestrating the alleged murder over a monetary dispute. The site was examined by a forensic team, and evidence was collected. Rajkumar's body was sent for an autopsy. Survived by two children, Rajkumar's death has alarmed the local community, who demand quick justice as police continue their investigation.
