A tragedy unfolded early Sunday morning as Pandav Kumar, a 21-year-old food delivery agent, was fatally shot in Delhi's Jaffarpur Kalan village. The incident occurred after Kumar attended a birthday party and was allegedly followed by a confrontation with Neeraj, a purported Delhi Police head constable.
The altercation reportedly escalated when Neeraj, accused of being under the influence, began abusing Kumar and his friends based on their regional origin. It is claimed that Neeraj fired his weapon at close range, resulting in Kumar's death and injuries to his friend, Krishan.
Family members have expressed their grief and called for stringent action against Neeraj, who is said to have been motivated by biases against people from Bihar. The local community and the victim's family demand immediate legal action as police continue their investigation into the sequence of events.
