Weapons Network Busted: Three Arrested in Jharkhand Operation
The Jharkhand Anti-Terrorism Squad arrested three men in Deoghar, recovering a US-made pistol and seven cartridges. The operation, based on a tip-off, revealed the suspects' criminal links in Bihar and Jharkhand. They have been placed in judicial custody for further investigation into the weapons supply chain.

The Jharkhand Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) made a significant breakthrough with the arrest of three individuals in Deoghar, officials reported on Saturday. During the operation, a US-made pistol, among other items, was seized.
The arrests, which took place on Friday in the Town police station area, followed a timely tip-off. Authorities confiscated two pistols, including the US-manufactured firearm, alongside seven cartridges, stated Deoghar SP Praveen Pushkar.
SP Rajkumar Mehta of the ATS disclosed to PTI that the criminal network extended across Bihar and Jharkhand, with two suspects originating from Deoghar and a history of various offenses. A Munger resident had allegedly been supplying weapons to them. The individuals are now in judicial custody, pending further investigation.
