In a significant breakthrough, police have arrested two suspects linked to a shooting incident at a local BJP leader's residence last month. The arrest followed a tense encounter during which one suspect, Jitendra alias 'Jeetu', sustained a gunshot wound.
The Superintendent of Police, Suresh Chandra Rawat, detailed the sequence of events leading to the attack on Danbihari's home in Barsana. An altercation at a dhaba owned by Dano's nephew reportedly escalated, prompting some individuals to intimidate his family with gunfire.
During the police operation, Jeetu was injured and consequently detained along with his accomplice, Rajbir, who surrendered. Authorities have recovered weapons and are interrogating the duo, while a hunt is underway for the remaining culprits.
