The Municipal Corporation of Delhi took decisive action on Sunday, demolishing parts of a house connected to an accused individual in the recent Uttam Nagar Holi clash, a violent incident that resulted in the death of a 26-year-old man. Law enforcement ensured order by deploying heavy police and paramilitary forces in the area.
Authorities reported that only the illegal sections of the structure were demolished, with the main house remaining untouched. This operation follows the March 4 clash between two neighboring families in JJ Colony, triggered by a water balloon incident. The feud, stemming from longstanding disputes over parking and garbage, has led to multiple arrests.
Under the shadow of escalating tensions, six individuals, including a minor, have been apprehended. To further complicate matters, charges under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and murder have been added to the FIR. Local outcry continues, with demands for justice and more stringent action against unauthorized constructions.
