A shocking crime unfolded in Uttar Pradesh's Shahjahanpur district as a 50-year-old man was allegedly killed by his son-in-law. The victim, named Ashok Babu, was returning from a temple visit with his sister when the attack occurred.
The alleged perpetrator, identified as Manmohan, intercepted Babu and his sister near a canal and assaulted the victim with a hockey stick. Babu succumbed to his injuries on the spot, while his sister was wounded in the altercation.
Authorities are still investigating the motives behind the brutal crime. A case has been registered, and law enforcement officials have formed teams to apprehend the suspect, said Circle Officer Alok Raj Narayan.
