South Korean President Lee Jae Myung has committed to reviving diplomatic channels between North Korea and the United States, aiming for a resumption of dialogue to ease regional tensions.
In a statement on Wednesday, Lee emphasized South Korea's role in facilitating communication and cooperation, recognizing the importance of stability on the Korean Peninsula.
He also announced steps Seoul would take to restore a 2018 military agreement with Pyongyang, focused on mitigating antagonism and fostering peace.
