A police constable's life tragically ended in Kamareddy district, Telangana, on Monday. The officer allegedly took his own life through self-immolation, the police disclosed.
The constable, from the Armed Reserve Police, reportedly traveled to the district's outskirts, doused himself in petrol, and set himself ablaze, authorities explained. A local cattle grazer discovered the body and subsequently informed law enforcement.
A preliminary investigation revealed a dispute with his wife, who resides apart in Hyderabad, as a potential factor. The investigation remains ongoing, with a registered case examining the full circumstances of the tragic event.
