Pakistani security forces successfully executed an intelligence-based operation on Wednesday, targeting a known militant group in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Conducted in the Bajaur district, the operation aimed to dismantle the activities of the outlawed group entrenched in the area. The militants were located hiding within caves in the Shahi Tangi forest.
Following a fierce exchange of gunfire, one terrorist was neutralized, while several others were injured but escaped. Forces cleared the vicinity, discovering a stockpile of weapons and equipment, reinforcing their ongoing mission to secure the region.
