Kashmir's top security officials are ramping up efforts to fortify the region's security framework. During a decisive meeting on Tuesday, V K Birdi, the Inspector General of Police for the Kashmir Zone, emphasized proactive strategies.
The meeting, held at the Police Control Room in Kashmir, brought together senior officers from the Jammu and Kashmir Police, central armed forces, Army, and Intelligence agencies. Discussions centered around current security challenges and the necessity for heightened vigilance.
