In a forceful address, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan condemned Israel's interception of a flotilla carrying aid and activists bound for Gaza, stating that the action undermines peace efforts.
Speaking to his ruling AK Party in Ankara, Erdogan emphasized that Turkey is putting every precaution in place to safeguard its citizens involved in the flotilla.
He criticized the Israeli government, accusing it of intentionally stalling peace prospects in the region.
