In a significant breakthrough, Punjab Police has arrested four individuals allegedly involved in illegal financial dealings and arms smuggling, authorities announced on Saturday.

Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav revealed that Amritsar Rural Police have detained four suspects, reportedly in cahoots with Pakistani smuggling networks. The detainees, identified as Jagroop Singh alias Baba, Hardeep Singh, Rajbir Singh alias Gullu, and Arsal Singh alias Rasal Singh, were caught in a decisive operation targeting illegal trafficking.

DGP Yadav stated that the police confiscated four Glock 9 mm pistols, five magazines, and Rs 3.05 lakh from the suspects, leading to a case registered at Gharinda police station, Amritsar. The investigation is ongoing to uncover more connections in this cross-border smuggling ring.
