In a chilling reminder of the dangers posed by natural water bodies, Beed district witnesses tragedy as two boys drown within days of each other. On Friday afternoon, Om Kshirsagar died while swimming in a local lake.

Just days earlier, on Tuesday, 11-year-old Amar Lokhande met a similar fate while swimming in a lake in Talwada village of Gevrai tehsil. His body was recovered on Thursday.

These incidents have heightened concerns regarding safety measures around local water bodies, urging a demand for enhanced supervision and preventive measures to protect local communities.
