In a dramatic turn of events, two Nepalese nationals, including a woman, have been arrested after allegedly attacking police officers during their night patrol duties in Ayyampuzha.
The suspects, identified as Sanch Maya Limbu and Suman, were taken into custody following a violent altercation that left several officers injured. The incident unfolded in the early hours of Friday, around 2 AM, when the accused were found on a scooter under suspicious circumstances near Kuttippara Church.
A heightened police presence in the area, prompted by drug trafficking complaints, resulted in the confrontation and subsequent arrest of the duo. An ongoing investigation aims to uncover further details.
