A dramatic survival story unfolded in Maharashtra's Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district when Sandip Ghatkawde, 30, found himself trapped in a 60-foot well for nearly 48 hours.

Ghatkawde fell into the well while trying to escape a pack of dogs and remained unnoticed, holding onto a rope for dear life. His predicament went unheard until local children, searching for a honeycomb, noticed him and alerted nearby adults.

The locals quickly mobilized to rescue Ghatkawde using a tyre, and he was finally pulled to safety on Thursday. After being examined by a doctor, he was given the all-clear to travel back to his hometown of Jalna.
