Kolkata Police Arrest Two for Illegal Firearms Possession

Two individuals were arrested in Kolkata after illegal firearms were found in their possession. Mobarak Hossain and Abrahim Sk, both residents of Narayanpur village in Malda, were caught with 7 mm pistols following intelligence inputs. The arrests were conducted on JBS Haldane Avenue.

The police recovered two 7 mm pistols and two magazines from the possession of Mobarak Hossain. In a separate seizure, Abrahim Sk was found with a 7 mm pistol and an empty magazine. These apprehensions occurred on JBS Haldane Avenue.

Both suspects, identified as residents of Narayanpur village in Malda's Kaliachak district, are under scrutiny, further underscoring police efforts to combat illegal arms possession in the region.
