Occult Ritual Scam: Dhan Varsha Gang Busted
A scam involving occult rituals, named 'Dhan Varsha,' was uncovered in Uttar Pradesh, where a gang exploited people financially and sexually under false promises. Fourteen members of the gang were arrested after an investigation revealed their fraudulent activities spanning several years across multiple districts.

A notorious gang duping individuals with promises of 'Dhan Varsha' through elaborate occult rituals has been dismantled in Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal, according to police authorities Thursday.
The gang, which preyed on victims for 7 to 8 years across Etah, Agra, and Firozabad, was involved in both financial fraud and the sexual exploitation of women and girls, the police revealed.
Up to 14 suspects, including key figures like Rinku, Ajab Singh, and others, have been apprehended, ensuring the gang's operations are halted and further investigations are in progress, stated Superintendent of Police Krishna Kumar Bishnoi.
