In a decisive move to maintain law and order, four notorious figures were expelled from Latur district for one year. The action, ordered by Superintendent of Police Somay Munde, aims to curb criminal activities in the area.
The police targeted the four individuals, who allegedly formed gangs within the MIDC police station's jurisdiction. This measure was instigated under Section 55 of the Maharashtra Police Act 1951 to dismantle disruptive elements.
Identified as Abhi alias Basaweshwar Urgunde Patil, Vishal Subhash Urgunde Patil, Sanjay Bharat Mule, and Prasad Babruwan Pawar, these residents were reported to have been involved in crimes that threatened public safety and property.
