The Delhi Police have successfully arrested two individuals involved in drug peddling from north Delhi's Narela area, confiscating 348 grams of heroin valued at approximately Rs 70 lakh, according to a police officer on Friday.
The suspects are Rasal Pathan, also known as Thandu, aged 33, and Rahim Khan, aged 27, both residents of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. Notably, Rasal Pathan has a criminal history with three prior cases related to narcotics and robbery, as noted by the officer.
Acting on provided intelligence, police intercepted the suspects in Narela on March 27. During the operation, they seized the heroin and a scooter allegedly used for drug distribution. An inquiry is ongoing to uncover the supply chain and other connections within the drug network, as stated by authorities.
