Parliamentary Panel Urges Swift Formation of Lokpal Wings

Currently, other agencies like the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) are handling the inquiries and prosecutions due to this gap.

The report highlighted the necessity for well-defined structures and jurisdictions for these wings within six months to maintain public trust in handling corruption cases. It also recommended digital platforms and structured timelines to ensure efficient processing of investigations and inquiries.
